Agreed first
You see the figure before we start
After the first meeting you get one page: what we would do for you, and what it costs each month. Nothing begins until you have said yes to that page.
Services & fees
Four services. Each one quoted as a fixed monthly fee before any work starts, so the invoice never contains a surprise.

Then it holds
The fee is reviewed once a year, in writing, before it changes. If your business grows out of the quote we tell you — we do not quietly add it to an invoice.
Talking is free
Ring to ask whether you can put the van through the business. That call is part of the fee, which is the only way you will ever actually ask us.
The four services
Self-assessment
Your tax return filed well before 31 January, from £180. For sole traders, landlords, company directors and anyone HMRC has decided owes them a return. We would rather do yours in the autumn, when we can still do something about the number.
From £180 per return
What is included
Limited companies
Year-end accounts, corporation tax and Companies House filings on a fixed monthly fee. Small limited companies — one or two directors, a handful of staff, a real trade behind them — are most of what we do.
Fixed monthly fee
What is included
Bookkeeping & VAT
Monthly bookkeeping in Xero and quarterly VAT returns under Making Tax Digital. Hand over the receipts in a bag if that is genuinely how they live — Dan has seen worse and says so cheerfully.
Fixed monthly fee
What is included
Payroll
Payslips, RTI submissions and pension auto-enrolment for up to twenty staff. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly — tell us the hours and the rest is ours.
Fixed monthly fee
What is included
Nothing here is billed by the hour.
Hourly billing makes a client think twice before ringing their accountant, and a client who thinks twice is a client who finds out about the problem in January. A fixed fee costs us the occasional long phone call. It is worth it.
Half an hour, no charge, nothing owed afterwards. You leave knowing the monthly figure — and whether you need all four services or only one of them.
